We are fully qualified and insured professionals with recognised qualifications that allow us to treat animals safely and effectively. It is normal for healthcare professionals that look after your dog such as Vets to make sure that who sees your dog is appropriately qualified, equipped and regulated – We are!
Rohan has 13 years of experience as a Chiropractor, and a lifelong love of animals.
Rohan has a long history in performance related chiropractic care and worked with Swansea City FC for four seasons. He has also worked with some of the leading athletes in the country from weightlifters and triathletes to gymnasts and cricketers. He lectured at the University of South Wales for 10 years alongside running his practice here in Port Talbot. Rohan loves to stay up-to-date with all the latest global chiropractic research and developments.
To call yourself a Veterinary Chiropractor you must either be a fully qualified Vet or fully qualified Chiropractor before undertaking extensive post graduate training at a certified institution. This provides you with the necessary skills and knowledge to practice safely with a recognised, certified qualification. Rohan did this and gained his qualifications from the esteemed UK Options for Animals. Rohan also successfully sat further board exams to allow him to be on the IVCA (International Veterinary Chiropractic Association) register which is recognised globally alongside being a member of RAMP (Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners). UK Options for Animals is the only accredited course that allows their graduates to sit IVCA exams and gain access to the register if successful.
Between 2022-2024 Rohan studied for his Masters in Animal Chiropractic qualification (MPAC) and proudly completed this in April 2024 with his final thesis discussing the integration of Animal Chiropractic and rehabilitation into and alongside mainstream veterinary care.
